Evoked Potential Testing

An Evoked Potential test measures the time it takes for nerves to respond to stimulation and the size of the response is measured. Nerves from different areas of the body may be tested.

Types of testing are:

  • Visual Evoked Response (VER or VEP)
  • Auditory brain stem evoked response (ABER or ABEP)
  • Somatosensory evoked response (SSER or SSEP)
  • Pre and post SSEP testing for surgical candidates
